Low temperature evapo‑concentrator

Outsourcing your wastewater treatment is expensive, consumes a lot of water, and generates significant CO₂ emissions.

  • 80% water saving
  • Payback in 2 to 3 years. The rest is pure savings

Outsourcing the treatment of your wastewater (effluents) results in significant financial losses.

By acquiring an evaporator, you can treat your wastewater in-house and thereby:

Cut your costs by a factor of 5
Reuse up to 80% of your water
Cut the carbon impact of your wastewater treatment

Good for the planet.
Even better for your budget.

Eliminate a cost center and turn it into a valuable asset, making your company a powerful force for sustainability.

Result

A return on investment in just 1 to 3 years, with costs reduced five fold

Massive water savings powered by our mix-flow evaporator. Massive water savings thanks to evapo-concentration. The waste heat from the steam is reused to maintain the evaporation reaction and condense the evaporated water.

Result

80% water savings

A unique technology enabling low-temperature evaporation.

Result

At least 75% energy savings compared to any other water treatment solution

Cuts CO₂ emissions by a factor of 5 compared to outsourced wastewater treatment.

Result

Save the equivalent of planting 7 new trees for every m³ of water treated

The most compact evapo-concentrator on the market… and the lighter. Plastic construction for better corrosion compatibility.

Result

Just 1 to 3 m² of floor space

Cleaning in place + easy access to the heat exchange tube by removing the top of the evaporator.

Result

Simple to install, effortless to maintain

Our clients save money, water, and CO₂

“We have been working with Leviathan since 2021, and their culture of collaboration and partnership is a real asset in an industrial relationship. They are always available to support us, improve the system, and respond to the needs of demanding clients. The structure and vacuum-based operation of their machines are accessible even to non-experts in thermodynamics, and have allowed us to reduce both treatment costs and the environmental impact of our effluents.”

Mechanical Vapor Compression (MVC) evaporation is a process used to separate a solvent—typically water—from industrial effluents, concentrating the remaining solution. When operated under vacuum, MVC systems are highly effective for reducing the volume of aqueous industrial waste. They also recover distilled water of industrial quality, which can be reused in various processes.

Turbevap® represents the latest generation of MVC evaporators. With its innovative compressor design, it operates at just 35°C and under a pressure eight times lower than older models. This low-temperature, low-pressure operation significantly enhances energy efficiency while still producing high-quality reusable water.

1 : Wastewater is sucked into the evaporator by vacuum.

2 : Wastewater absorbs the heat of the vapor in the condenser by falling into the tubes.

3 : Wastewater is overheated. This causes part of it to evaporate.

4 : Wastewater continues to evaporate by absorbing heat from the condenser.

5 : Vapor is sucked and compressed by the compressor.

6 : Compressed vapor, when in contact with the external wall of the pipes, condenses.

7 : Distilled water is extracted, available for disposal or reuse.

8 : Liquid waste is extracted for storage before elimination when it no longer contains water.
